Wall Street Journal Article: Wall Street Sours on America’s Downtowns
Richard A. Ciccarone of Merritt Research Services, an Investortools company, was recently quoted in the Wall Street Journal about office building occupancy, which has still not recovered to pre-pandemic levels. Richard was early to mention warnings of this potential “Long Covid” problem in his 2022 report Tracking Municipalities Reliance on Top Taxpayers and the strain it would have on both those with investments tied to commercial real estate as well as the municipalities that rely on property tax for revenue.
